Welcome to Aurelis Design Studio. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services, including the purchase of custom 3D printed products. By accessing our website or placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We create thoughtfully designed products that are practical, durable, and made to last. Each item is carefully crafted using quality materials and clean design to solve everyday needs in a simple and reliable way.

1. Company Information

This website is operated by Aurelis Design Studio. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Aurelis Design Studio.

2. Nature of Products and Services

All products sold by Aurelis Design Studio are custom-manufactured using additive manufacturing, commonly known as 3D printing.

Due to the nature of 3D printing, products may exhibit minor dimensional variations, visible layer lines, surface imperfections, slight colour variations, or differences in finish. These characteristics are normal and do not constitute defects.

3. Custom Orders and Final Sale

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all products are made-to-order or custom-manufactured.

As such, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, cancellations, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect fit, customer design errors, incorrect measurements, or customer-provided file issues.

Exceptions may apply only where Aurelis Design Studio has supplied an incorrect item or where a confirmed manufacturing defect exists.

4. Customer Responsibility for Design Files

If you provide your own design files, including but not limited to STL, STEP, OBJ, CAD, or similar files, you are solely responsible for the accuracy, dimensions, fitment, functionality, safety, and intended use of those files.

Aurelis Design Studio does not validate, certify, engineer, or guarantee the structural integrity, mechanical suitability, safety, or regulatory compliance of customer-provided designs.

5. Design Services Disclaimer

If Aurelis Design Studio assists with design, modelling, resizing, file repair, or modification, such services are provided on a best-effort basis for prototyping, aesthetic, hobby, decorative, or general-use purposes only.

Unless expressly stated in writing, our design support does not constitute professional engineering, certification, regulatory approval, or safety validation.

6. Intended Use and Restrictions

Products sold by Aurelis Design Studio are not intended for critical, regulated, life-safety, or high-risk applications unless expressly agreed in writing and supported by appropriate professional certification.

You agree not to use our products for medical, life-saving, structural, load-bearing, automotive safety, aerospace, electrical, food-contact, child-safety, or other high-risk applications where failure could result in injury, death, property damage, financial loss, or regulatory breach.

Use of our products is entirely at your own risk.

7. Material and Performance Disclaimer

3D printed parts are subject to inherent material and manufacturing limitations. Printed parts may be weaker along layer lines and may perform differently depending on print orientation, material type, environmental exposure, load, stress, heat, UV exposure, moisture, and use conditions.

Aurelis Design Studio makes no guarantee regarding long-term durability, strength, performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability for any specific application.

8. Tolerances and Fitment

Unless otherwise specified in writing, dimensional tolerances are typically within approximately ±0.2 mm to ±0.5 mm, depending on the part geometry, material, printer, and print settings.

We do not guarantee perfect fitment with other components, airtight performance, watertight performance, mechanical compatibility, or functional performance unless expressly agreed in writing.

9. Order Approval and Production

By placing an order, approving a quote, or approving a design, you confirm that all specifications, quantities, dimensions, materials, colours, finishes, and design details are correct and suitable for your intended use.

Once production has started, changes may not be possible. Any approved changes may result in additional charges, revised timelines, or cancellation of the original production run.

10. Production Risks and Lead Times

3D printing involves inherent technical risks, including print failures, warping, deformation, adhesion issues, machine errors, material inconsistencies, and post-processing variation.

Aurelis Design Studio reserves the right to reprint parts, adjust production methods, substitute equivalent equipment, and revise timelines where necessary.

All lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

11. Pricing and Payment

Prices are determined based on factors including material usage, machine time, complexity, labour, finishing requirements, design support, and order volume.

Aurelis Design Studio reserves the right to require deposits, full payment before production, or full payment before release or shipment of an order.

Orders may be paused, cancelled, or withheld if payment is not received.

12. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is handled by third-party carriers. Once an order is picked up by the customer or transferred to a shipping carrier, risk of loss, theft, delay, or damage transfers to the customer.

Aurelis Design Studio is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, stolen packages, damaged shipments, incorrect delivery by carriers, or carrier service failures.

Where applicable, customers are responsible for pursuing claims directly with the carrier.

13. Inspection and Claims

Customers must inspect all products within 72 hours of receipt.

Any claim must be submitted in writing to info@aurelisdesign.com and must include clear photos, a description of the issue, and the related order information.

Failure to notify Aurelis Design Studio within 72 hours of receipt constitutes acceptance of the product.

14. Intellectual Property

By submitting any file, design, image, logo, model, or specification to Aurelis Design Studio, you confirm that you own the rights to that material or have obtained all required permissions to reproduce it.

You agree that your order does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, design right, trade secret, licensing restriction, or other third-party intellectual property right.

Aurelis Design Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that may violate intellectual property rights or applicable laws.

15. Prohibited Orders

Aurelis Design Studio reserves the right to refuse any order that we determine, in our sole discretion, may be unsafe, illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, obscene, deceptive, dangerous, or otherwise inappropriate.

We may also refuse orders involving weapons, weapon components, regulated devices, counterfeit goods, or items designed to cause harm or evade legal restrictions.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurelis Design Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, personal injury, property damage, production downtime, or third-party claims.

Aurelis Design Studio’s total liability for any claim arising from an order, product, service, or website use shall be strictly limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aurelis Design Studio from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising from your misuse of products, unsafe applications, breach of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, or use of products for unintended or high-risk purposes.

18. Safety Warning

3D printed products may fail without warning. Products should be inspected, tested, and validated by the customer before use.

Products are not certified for safety-critical applications unless expressly stated in writing. Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is safe and appropriate for their intended use.

19. Product Images and Website Content

Product images, renderings, photos, descriptions, dimensions, and specifications shown on our website are provided for general reference only.

Actual products may vary due to material properties, manufacturing method, lighting, screen settings, finishing, and production variation.

20. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to our website or services at any time.

21. Privacy

Personal information collected through our website or order process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, where applicable.

22. Right to Refuse Service

Aurelis Design Studio reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including where an order presents safety concerns, legal risk, technical infeasibility, payment issues, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms.
